So it's Saturday night and this is it, livejournal and bad local TV. Oh well.
These past few days seem like they could have been really good but they were far from crazy or even really fun.
Going back a few days. New Year's Eve I went to Danny's house with a bunch of kids I knew pretty well and others I didn't know that well. I ended up having fun though which was good. From what I heard it was the best party some people went to so I'm really glad I went.
New Year's Day I went out to eat which I probably shouldn't have done since I'm so low on money, I don't regret it though. Both of the things I thought I might have been doing that evening didn't happen but whatever. I also got to witness a crazy argument at Sals. Weird.
Yesterday Mike, Cam, and I bussed out to St. Vital to go to Cam's parents and ended up being stuck in a wild fucking snowstorm. There's nothing grim or frostbitten about fucking snowdrifts in suburbia. From there Tracy picked us up from Cam's parents and drove us to Fingers place which was super awesome since the roads were so crazy. Unfortunately I was feeling pretty awful so I had to leave the party way earlier than I had planned. Thankfully I was cheered up by the end up the night, so the day didn't end on a really low note.
Today I went about as crazy I'd like to ever let myself go when I thought I lost a cheque. Luckily I found it but not after I threw shit all over my room and went kind of nuts. Fuck. Tonight I'm doing nothing, no one wants to leave their homes since it's so cold and the few things I could be doing I'd feel super uncomfortable at. It doesn't matter though.
As if anyone will bother reading this.
ps. I think my internet days are numbered so if anyone that reads this wants to keep in touch or something they should email me and I'll try and check that sometimes or always call the house. I know no one will though so don't worry. |

Tops
1. Moving out of Portage
2. Moving closer to friends and making new friendships, all of that shit.
3. Living at the Horger (I think the first 3 are all kind of related but so what?)
4. Finishing highschool
5. Several good relationships. After years of no romance this year hit. This latest relationship is easily the best though.
6. Learning to love skateboarding again
*Bonus as well: My nieces. I'm glad I got to see them tons when I was living in Portage, and I love going back to Portage to see them whenever I can.
Bottoms
1. Being a disappointment. Not going to school, having very little money. Wasting time in my parents eyes.
2. No money. Not a huge issue, but still something that I constantly think about.
3. A few instances of heartache. Valerie leaving specifically. That hurt, but I'm way over it.
4. Getting mugged. Sucked, but like Adam I think I'm over it.
5. Not going to school or figuring out what I want to do.
6. Nothing else, which I guess is good.
-Best/Fav 2003 show you went to?
Local - Aside from Arsonfest definitely the Machine That Flashes/Diademegon show. That one took me by surprise and first seeing Diademegon was awesome. Too bad the novelty wore off so quickly. Machine That Flashes was crazy.
Away - Municipal Waste & Caustic Christ in Minneapolis. Maybe it was so much fun because we had to overcome so much shit to make it, but we did and the bands didn't disappoint.

Let's try this shit again.
So it seems that my livejournal is back, as if anyone cares. I decided that livejournal is still super lame, so instead of talking about feelings I'll just post updates on what I did all day, and also some of those surveys that I've always been too cool to do. Now down to business.
Today I went to HMV with Cam so he could spend some gift certificate shit and I ended up finding the Weakling album which was pretty awesome. Unfortunately I can't spend any money right now so I had to put it on hold. It's still awesome though.
After that we went back to the house and I cleared up some plans that were hopefully going to be happening tonight but they were cancelled which bummed me out. Oh well.
Mike and I then headed to his mom's apartment and we watched cable and ate food which is always good, except that I'm super allergic to the cats. It's worth it though.
We got back to the house and realized that we weren't going to make it to the Pyramid to say goodbye to Leanne which was pretty shitty, but so is the weather, and so is having no money... fuck.
Later on Alex and Ryan stopped by the house and ended up joining me in heading over to Fingers house to watch a movie, which didn't happen. I felt kind of bad since I told them how awesome the movie was and it was getting pretty late and they didn't get to see it. We (mostly they) made food though, so hopefully that made up for it. Several hours passed which consisted of me falling asleep numerous times and also drinking glasses of Stone Cold. I appreciate Fingers giving me some of his but that stuff is fucking sick! Chugging some of it was the worst idea ever. Yuck!
Tomorrow... well today I guess I need to go looking for a job, which I hope I actually do since things are pretty ridiculous right now. |

Well, I guess I should use this thing once in a while. Alot of stuff has happened in the past 3 weeks or so. Let's see about 3 weeks ago I graduated, went to Kenora and then Flin Flon with my parents and Valerie. About 2 weeks ago Valerie left for Germany and I won't be seeing her for a good long time. Sad stuff but it was fun while it lasted. Friday I moved into the Horger which is a lot of fun right now and a lot more different than my life a week ago. Everything familiar has been flipped around and things will take some getting used to. People that were once far away are now close, people that were once close are now far away. Weird shit! Soon I will find a job, and like Adam, I too am in the market for a female companion. It seems too soon but there is that constant void that feels like it needs to be filled, plus I really want to watch Dr. Zhivago. Maybe me and Adam should just start dating each other? Anyways, to any of you that bother to read my journal there's my life up to this point and if anyone has time or feels like it, give me a shout and we'll hang out or something. |
